Million Pound Diamond Necklace to be sold in our Autumn Fine Sale
Gorringe’s are delighted to announce the sale of a Harry Winston platinum and diamond necklace, with 17.91 carat diamond drop the pear shaped brilliant cut stone with GIA certificate dated 5.12.2007 stating the colour and clarity as F, VS2, the necklace comprised of pear cut, marquise and round cut stones totalling in excess of 70 carats, signed and numbered.
Harry Winston ranks amongst the most rated jewellers in the world. In the 1953 musical film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes the song “Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend” includes the spoken interjection “Talk to me Harry Winston, tell me all about it!”
The necklace will be offered for sale on the 27th September on the second day of our autumn fine sale, the auction estimate is £1,000,000.
